This 63-year-old woman scheduled a consultation with Dr. Schiedler to learn more about improving the excess skin folds above and below her eyes. She had a history of chronic allergies, which had caused eyelid swelling and, as a result, stretched out the skin. Dr. Schiedler performed an upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty to improve the skin contours. She also did a medium depth chemical peel to tighten the lower lid remaining skin, but recommends a deeper peel to significantly thicken and tighten the skin further.
