This 78-year-old woman was having difficulty reading or looking down because her droopy upper eyelids were blocking her vision. She had to use her forehead muscle constantly just to see, open her eyes, read, or drive. The patients biggest desire was that she wanted to heal as quickly as possible.

Dr. Schiedler performed upper eyelid ptosis repair and tightened a detached upper eyelid muscle. In doing this, it opened the patient’s eyes well above her pupils. She was thrilled with the results and with how quickly she could see and how rapidly she recovered from the surgery.
