Upper Eyelid (Blepharoplasty) and Skin Cancer Patient 25
Oasis Eye Face and Skin | Ashland, Medford, Grants Pass, Oregon
Featured here is a 68-year-old man that was sent to to Dr. Schiedler by his optometrist for his vision blockage caused by excessive upper lid skin folds. His primary care physician had biopsied a lesion on the left lower lid cheek junction, and it was a basal cell carcinoma. Dr. Schiedler contoured the upper lids with a blepharoplasty surgery to unblock his vision and removed and repaired the left lower eyelid skin cancer with frozen sections (having a pathologist confirm clean margins or complete removal of the skin cancer). He was very pleased with his results and was surprised with how much eye fatigue he had been putting up with over the years.
