Upper Eyelid (Blepharoplasty) and Ptosis Patient 12
Oasis Eye Face and Skin | Ashland, Medford, Grants Pass, Oregon
Featured here is a 73-year-old woman who met with Dr. Schiedler for droopy upper lids that blocked her vision for driving, in particular, her peripheral vision. She had deep-set, small eyes that were covered by excess skin folds. Dr. Schiedler also recognized a muscle detachment or ptosis of the upper eyelids. She performed an upper eyelid blepharoplasty and ptosis repair to remove heaviness and reattach the muscles. The patient was very happy with her improved and brighter vision, which made it easier for her to read and drive.
