This 87-year-old gentleman wanted to have Dr. Schiedler remove his lower lid bags because he desired to look younger. He was concerned that other people were worried about him because he looked tired and older, even though he felt strong, energetic, and healthy.

Dr. Schiedler performed a lower lid blepharoplasty, removing and contouring the fat, and removed a conservative amount of skin, while tightening his lower lids to improve some wateriness. He was very pleased with his improved appearance. He felt as if the cosmetic surgery properly reflected how he felt: fit, strong, and capable of physical labor at his age.
